Toronto critical injury lawyers John McLeish and Salvatore Shaw will present a workshop on techniques for report writing and charting at the 2015 Traumatic Brain Injury Conference on Jan. 30.
In the 2 – 3 p.m. session, aimed at health-care practitioners who contend with traumatic brain injury in their practice, McLeish and Shaw, partners with McLeish Orlando LLP, will discuss the best techniques for record keeping and report writing to support an opinion and to withstand cross-examination if the case goes to trial.
At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to enhance their ability to chart and create effective reports as well as determine the important facts that will help or hurt a patient’s claim.
The 2015 Traumatic Brain Injury Conference, hosted by UHN’s Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, will run from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Allstream Centre, 105 Princes’ Blvd., Exhibition Place, Toronto.
