Toronto critical injury lawyers John McLeish and Patrick Brown are participating in a Toronto Rehabilitation Institute conference Friday, presenting a workshop on compensation challenges for survivors of a mild traumatic brain injury.
McLeish and Brown, partners with McLeish Orlando LLP, plan to provide an overview of the challenges faced in the tort system.
The conference, called Challenges & Controversies in mTBI: The Science & Clinical Management of Concussions, focuses on the challenges and controversies surrounding the science and clinical management of concussion.
Plenary sessions
Interactive discussions, workshops, and plenary sessions will be part of the fifth-annual event. Workshops will focus on topics of vestibular dizziness, post-traumatic headaches, returning athletes to play as well as the legal aspects of sport-related traumatic injury.
McLeish
and Brown’s presentation will discuss how to better work with lawyers in a
collaborative way to assist victims of mTBI, along with appreciating the
importance of accurate and balanced assessment reports in this area.
