Céline Dostaler

Céline defends all criminal charges, including assault charges, domestic assault, impaired driving, driving under the influence, drug charges, sex offences, child pornography and fraud. She appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice in Ottawa, L’Orignal, Brockville, Perth, Cornwall and Pembroke. She is the only point of contact when a client calls, so they never have to repeat details of the case to other members of the firm, plus she is fluent in French or English, and nothing will be lost in translation.

She comes to court prepared to win. For the duration of a case, Céline will advise clients of their options, the advantages and disadvantages of each, and how any decision can advance their interests. Her proactive and deep preparation of the case significantly increases the chances of weakening the Crown’s case or discovering inconsistencies in witnesses’ testimony and police notes in order to remove or reduce charges against clients.

She offers a free, in-person, 30-minute consultation at the client's convenience, with fees for other work discussed at that time. Block fees are set for each phase of the criminal process, and there are no extra charges for calls, meetings or going to court on behalf of the client. Céline prides herself in no hidden or unexpected fees, so clients can feel comfortable calling her to about their case without the worry of being charged extra. She takes the time to explain the criminal court system to clients because she understands the fear of facing a criminal conviction for the first time.
