In a recent webinar, Toronto critical injury lawyers John McLeish and Patrick Brown outline a number of strategies that will benefit lawyers, healthcare providers and clients navigating the evolving area of auto insurance law.
McLeish and Brown, partners with McLeish Orlando LLP, hosted the practical strategies session along with lawyers from Oatley,Vigmond, providing an update on how lawyers and healthcare providers are coping with the challenges of working in the constantly changing auto insurance system. Strategies discussed included establishing ‘incurred expense’ and ‘economic loss’ in attendant care claims, recent developments in catastrophic impairment, common pitfalls in clinical note-taking and report writing and preparing for giving evidence in court.
