Toronto critical injury lawyer John McLeish will share his thoughts on dealing with experts at the upcoming Ontario Bar Association Institute 2015.
As part of the Ethical Issues for Litigators: Beyond Civility program on Feb. 4, McLeish, partner with McLeish Orlando LLP, will join a panel discussion at 9:05 a.m., assessing the impact of the Court of Appeal decisions in Moore v. Getahun and Westerhof v. Gee, how much guidance is too much guidance, the role of the lawyer and client in reviewing a draft expert report and how to prepare for examining the expert on the stand.
The program will take place from 9 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre, 2 Harbour Square, Toronto.
The OBA’s Institute 2015 runs from Feb. 4-7.
