McLeish Orlando LLP has been named one of the top-10 personal injury boutiques by Canadian Lawyer magazine.
The firm was established in 1999 by John McLeish and Dale Orlando, who broke away from Loopstra Nixon & McLeish to set up their own shop, the article says. They were joined shortly after by fellow principal partner, Patrick Brown.
Salvatore Shaw and Rikin Morzaria were later added as partners, and in 2009, the firm made history by obtaining more than $18 million for teenage crash victim Katherine-Paige MacNeill, the report continues.
Canadian Lawyer’s editorial team began the process of selecting Canada’s top-10 personal injury boutiques by creating a long list of the most notable players in their respective fields, the article says. An online survey and confidential interviews were then completed to help narrow the list to 10.
