People facing a charge related to the production of any kind of narcotic could be looking at time behind bars upon conviction. The penalty you could be given depends on a number of factors, the two key ones being the type of narcotic produced and the amount. Those convicted of manufacturing “hard drugs” such as meth could face a lengthy sentence, with lesser penalties given to those found to be running illegal but large-scale marijuana grow operations.
