What you need to know about the crime of sexual interference

If an adult sexually touches anyone under the age of sixteen or encourages someone of that age to sexually touch them, that is considered a crime. In either situation, the illegal touching can be any part of the adult’s body, directly or indirectly, and it can involve any part of the youth’s body.
