I am a big supporter of the Youth Criminal Justice Act as it recognizes that young people should be held responsible for their criminal acts, but to a different degree than an adult. After all, a 13-year-old might not appreciate the full ramifications of their criminal actions. For example, I represented a 15-year-old charged with murder. To read more, click here.
